New ISA Weed Management Tool Helps Farmers Combat Glyphosate Resistance (10-18-2012)
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has launched an interactive Weed Management Map to help the state's soybean farmers more effectively combat glyphosate resistance. Funded by the Illinois soybean checkoff, the online resource gives farmers access to detailed information about the most prevalent glyphosate-resistant weeds in their counties, including specific chemistry resistances. The tool also provides a photo gallery of weeds at various growth stages and links to a variety of related websites, helping farmers more easily identify and address any occurrences in their own fields.

Illinois Soybean Checkoff Funds SIUC Research Targeted at Increasing Demand (9-19-2012)
Enhancing farmer profitability by increasing demand for soybeans and soy products is the goal of three new soybean research projects recently approved for funding by the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA).

ISA Unveils New Web-based Mapping Tool for Tracking State’s Soybean Production (8-8-2012)
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) launched a new online resource for farmers this week. The Illinois SoyMap Tool Kit, which is funded by the Illinois soybean checkoff, enables Illinois soybean farmers to view and track the status of the state's soybean production through interactive maps and explanatory data. Farmers also have the option of creating custom maps of their own fields to allow for easy comparison with others in their counties, crop reporting districts and the entire state.
