The Illinois Soybean Association — with funding from the Illinois soybean checkoff —has partnered with Farm Journal to sponsor its renowned Soybean College. You’re invited to join the Class of 2013 for this valuable learning opportunity. Class Starts at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24 in Heyworth, IL. Soybean College features an agenda packed with practical, take-home production knowledge. From classroom-style general sessions to in-field breakouts, you’ll hear from industry-leading growers and researchers on topics that matter to you and your bottom line. Plus, you’ll receive hands-on training on identifying growth stages, managing soybean pests and more! The program is led by Farm Journal Agronomist Ken Ferrie, one of the few truly independent agronomists in the nation. It also includes presentations by University of Illinois Ag Economist Fred Below and Professor Bryan Young, Ph.D., from Southern Illinois University’s College of Agricultural Sciences.
